Worm Farms and Hardware
Established worm farms are an easy way to get started. We offer a simple 10 gallon model, for kids and the "kitchen composter," as well as the 28 gallon model for the garden enthusiast. Both models come as working colonies. No set-up or assembly required. Just get 'em home and start feeding! We also sell the fitttings and spouts, for the D-I-Y.
10 Gallon Farm
This unit comes complete with the bin, 1 pound of expanded coir bedding, live activated soil and 1 pound of worms and cocoons. They will be consuming 3-7 pounds of scraps per week.
18 Gallon Farm
This unit is "The Cadillac" of our worm farm line. Complete with bin, containing 2 pounds of expanded coir, live activated soil and 1 1/2 pounds of worms and cocoons. These colonies will consume 4-10 pounds of scrap per week.
Liquid-tite drain assembly
The liquid-tite drain assembly, comes ready to install in any poly or metal bin.
Just drill your hole and thread both halves together for an excellent, leak free drain port. Comes with standard 3/4" IPT threads inside.
3/4" spigot
This is our easy maintenance poly spigot. It will thread into any 3/4" female IPT fitting. Works great for draining off excess moisture or worm tea.
3/4" economy plug
This is our economical alternative to the spigot. Not as user friendly as the spigot, but necessary when excess moisture is a concern.
